Yoga Styles

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, our studio has temporarily closed. But you can still practice with us on Zoom!

Accessing classes on Zoom

Ashtanga

On a physical level the asanas (poses) of the Primary Series build strength and flexibility in the body, loosening tight muscles and realigning and detoxifying the body and nervous system. The series begins with forward bends, then twists and hip openers with a vinyasa between each asana.

Buti

Buti, in Indian Marathi, means “the cure to something hidden or kept secret.” This practice is a high-intensity fusion of yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics. Classes combine cardio, strength training and flexibility in one seamless format. Buti creates a strong, empowered group that resembles a tribe.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa ( translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Flow yoga classes tend to be more vigorous and aerobic, and classes can have a variety of music and themes.

Chill out

A slow flow with gentle poses and long holds, with a generous full body relaxation.

Meditation

Access a deep state of relaxation. These meditation sessions are of benefit to people from all walks of life, including sleep-deprived parents and those suffering from post-traumatic stress.

Suitable for any level of meditation practice, even complete beginners.
